Introduction
Napa County is a county located north of the San Francisco Bay Area. The state government’s population bureau lists a January 1, 2006 estimate of 133,522. The county seat is Napa. Napa County was one of the original counties of California, created in 1850 at the time of statehood. Napa County, is known for its wine industry and is the most popular wine making region in the United States.
