Yolo Strategic Plan (2002)

Proposition 10, the California Children and Families Act, established dedicated funding to improve child health, strengthen families and help children be ready to learn by the time they start school. Following the passage of Proposition 10, the Yolo County Board of Supervisors approved an ordinance establishing the Yolo County Children and Families Commission. The 2002 Yolo County Children and Families Commission Strategic Plan documents the planning framework and funding priorities established by the Commission. It draws on information gathered in the planning process for the 2000 Strategic Plan and looks at new information from a recent update on community needs focusing on special and hard to reach population groups.
