The Effects of Universal Pre-K on Cognitive Development

This study finds that Oklahoma's universal preschool education program has succeeded in enhancing the school readiness of the children participating in the program. The study results show that children of diverse racial and economic backgrounds all benefit from attending preschool. In addition, the report notes that children benefit in both half- and full-day programs.
