Stanislaus Strategic Plan (2006-2008)

The Stanislaus County Children & Families Commission develops goals and strategies to guide the investment of the county’s portion of Proposition 10 funds, more than 13 million in 2005-2006. The Commission acts much like a foundation. It administers direct program funding and community grants to help fulfill the mission of promoting the development and well-being of children 0 through 5. The Stanislaus County Board of Supervi-sors appoints Commissioners who act independently to establish budgets and contracts for programs.
