Siskiyou Strategic Plan (2006)

The purpose of First 5 Siskiyou Children and Families Commission (First 5 Siskiyou) is to invest in the future of the young children, and their families, that live in Siskiyou County. This investment begins with the patience and commitment to build a long-term, sustainable effort based on community generated collaborative action.

This will be accomplished through a partnership with local communities to identify community-specific and county-common needs, gaps in services and indicators of success. Our success will be measured by the needs we have met, the gaps we have closed and improvements in the indicators that tell us that our young children and their families are healthy.

This strategic plan will guide our actions. It is a living document and will continue to evolve in the coming months and years.
