Serving Hispanic Children: Profiles of Schools and Programs

This profile of schools and programs represents the kinds of serious efforts that are being made to strengthen Hispanic achievement. However, the Task Force has not evaluated the programs to determine whether they have demonstrated improvements in school readiness or in literacy-based parenting practices for the purposes of this profile. Rather, the Task Force presents these schools and programs as examples of programs that may be meeting the needs of Hispanic children and families.
