Overview of 2005 Data Collection, Data Highlights, Understanding the County Data Pages

The California Child Care Resource and Referral Network compiled information about the state and individual counties to provide a resource about child care supply and demand and about the demographic issues that impact child care, both at the state level and in each of California’s 58 counties. With information about the demographics of each county and standardized data about the supply and demand of child care, the Portfolio helps policymakers, community leaders, businesses, nonprofit organizations, school districts, and other stakeholders address the challenges of providing quality, affordable.
