New Report on Characteristics of Immigrant Families and their Implications for Social Policies

This newsletter presents articles on the characteristics of immigrant families, child poverty in the United States, a new data and resource tool for access to infant and maternal health information, and children’s experiences with art and culture. It is indicated that the New York State Office of Child and Family Services has added an Effective and Promising Practices page to its Web site to provide resources for service providers and all stakeholders involved in programs to improve outcomes for children and families. An annotated list of recently released reports on early childhood is included.
