Mariposa Strategic Plan (2006-2008)

This revised Strategic Plan builds on the original Plan and the Commission's work over the past five years to improve the lives of children, infant to five years-of-age, in Mariposa County. The Commission has funded several programs and projects that directly affect the lives of preschool children. The TR4 grant assists childcare providers in obtaining training and additional workshops/forums that aid them in working with infants and preschoolers. The Commission has helped to support Acorn Preschool and Mariposa Cooperative Preschool, providing school readiness opportunities. The Commission has developed a comprehensive grant application and procedure process with emphasis on sustainability and evaluation of projects, focusing on impact and making a difference over time for children.
