Los Angeles County children’s literacy experiences, emotional well-being and skills acquisition

This technical report, uses data from the Los Angeles Family and Neighborhood Survey (L.A.FANS) to examine children’s readiness for school in Los Angeles County. It present results on several aspects of school readiness and show how they vary by geography, socio-economic status, maternal education, and child gender, ethnicity and immigrant status.
