The Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF) is a leader in engaging, organizing, and coordinating the technical, intellectual, and financial resources for child care facility development in California. As such, LIIF provides capital, technical assistance and engages in advocacy efforts to support the development of quality child care facilities throughout the state. LIIF supports local collaboratives in California (Constructing Connections project sites) consisting of existing organizations dedicated to building a comprehensive and sustainable financing and support system for child care facility development. LIIF also manages Child Care Facility Funds (CCFF) in two California counties. And, LIIF seeks opportunities to coordinate with other local child care facility development initiatives like the Local Investment in Child Care (LINCC) project.
