Fresno Strategic Plan (2005-2008)

On June 21, 2000, the Commission adopted its first Putting Children First Strategic Plan. It outlined an initial process for improving the lives of Fresno County's children and families and established the framework that will serve as a foundation as the Plan is revised from year to year. Through a process of community participation and discussion, goal setting (including priorities) and funding/granting activities, the Commission effectively built community partnerships and clarified the goals and methods for maximizing opportunities offered by Proposition 10. The Commission is currently in its sixth year of operation.
