Dual-Language Programs in U.S. Schools: An Alternative to Monocultural, Monolingual Education

This paper explores the myths negating dual-language immersion education, and then provides solid research-based information on multiple language education. The paper also reports on assessments of current dual-language programs, including student achievement results. The report concludes by examining the significance of dual-language education in U.S. classrooms.
